Brandi Fossum NP-C — Physician Assistant

Biography

Brandi R. Fossum, NP-C is the Nurse Practitioner for Dr. Cyrus M. Press, MD and Dr. Asheesh Gupta, MD. Brandi works in the clinic seeing patients as well as in the operating room during surgeries. You will have appointments with Brandi for your pre-operative visit and for your first initial post- operative visit, but she will be with you every step of the way through your journey.

Brandi graduated from Walden University with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and became a board-certified Acute Care Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Brandi has been a nurse for over 10 years and has worked in numerous capacities in and around the operating room. She has a strong passion for caring for patients before, during, and after surgery. In addition to her qualifications as a healthcare provider, she is CNOR certified and also has extensive experience as a surgical first assistant (RNFA).

Brandi is married and has 3 boys who keep her very busy. In her free time, she enjoys watching the Washington Capitals play hockey and riding her Peloton. She also loves spending time with family and friends.
