Angela E. Jones, MD, FAAOS is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with a specialization in hand surgery. She comes to The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedic, Calvert Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Division, with more than 13 years of clinical practice after training. Dr. Jones is a native of Seattle and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Washington before moving to Missouri, where she completed medical school at Washington University in St. Louis. Her training continued at the George Washington University Hospital for orthopaedic surgery residency, followed by the University of Virginia for hand and microvascular surgery fellowship training. Prior to joining the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, Dr. Jones had a solo practice with offices in Clinton and Annapolis.

Outside of work, Dr. Jones resides in Annapolis and enjoys water activities, travel, and trying to keep up with her kids and pets.

Dr. Jones believes in treating the entire person, rather than just the imaging test or injured body part, and understands that not every treatment works for every patient. She enjoys using her training and years of experience to find ways to improve each of her patients’ lives by approaching them as individuals, then working together towards creative solutions to reduce pain and improve function.
