Biography
Steven Horton, M.D., M.S., is a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with a focus on Hand and Upper Extremity Disorders at Mid-Maryland Musculoskeletal Institute (MMI) division in Frederick, Maryland. Advocating for conservative care, Dr. Horton prioritizes non-invasive approaches whenever possible. In cases where surgery is necessary, he employs minimally invasive techniques to facilitate smoother and quicker recoveries, enabling patients to return to work and activities sooner.
Dr. Horton has contributed significantly to orthopedic literature, with published articles addressing diverse topics such as the treatment of scaphoid nonunions in Hand and the identification of the safe zone in arthroscopic anterior elbow capsulectomy, featured in the Journal of Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery.
