Biography
Chris has always had a strong affinity for orthopedics and sports medicine. He began his healthcare career in the field of athletic training, which he studied at Towson University. Chris then transitioned to nursing, initially earning his Associates of Science in Nursing from Hagerstown Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. During Chris’s clinical nursing career at Meritus Medical Center, Chris worked as a trauma nurse in the Emergency Department where he managed patients with a multitude of orthopedic injuries, in the ICU managing patients with complex multi-system and orthopedic issues, and in the Cardiac Cath Lab where he cared for patients suffering from serious cardiac and vascular problems. In 2020 Chris graduated from the Nurse Practitioner program at Walden University obtaining his Master of Science in Nursing. He has since received in-depth training in the specialty of orthopedics with our physicians.
Chris is a self-proclaimed sports fanatic enjoying golf, surfing, baseball, football, and everything in between. His favorite teams are the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens.
